Instructor: Kathleen Pahl Ages: Adults Skill Level: All Four Consecutive Sundays June 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join our immersive workshop on the art of abstraction. This engaging session delves into the foundational elements of art, guiding participants on how to skillfully employ visual language to craft meaningful and expressive works. Throughout the workshop, we will analyze the techniques employed by renowned artists in various forms of abstraction.

In each class, participants will have the opportunity to thoughtfully apply the elements of art, resulting in the creation of unique and compelling small paintings. This hands-on experience encourages students to explore diverse art processes and experiment with different mediums. Notably, this class exclusively employs water-based mediums, providing a focused and enriched learning environment.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained valuable insights into the techniques of abstraction, honed their artistic skills, and produced a small collection of distinctive artworks. Whether you are a novice seeking a solid foundation or an advanced artist looking to refine your skills, this workshop is for you.
