Join Art Supply Depo owner Jules Webster for a fun, hands on demo exploring three styles of mixed media paper. Jules creates mixed media drawings in advance of creating her larger scale paintings. In this demo, she will explain how to select a paper that is appropriate for your medium of choice and scale of artwork.

Participants will try out different types of watercolor, acrylic paint, and drawing materials on three brands of paper: Stillman and Birn, Paint on Paper, and Fabriano's Cromia papers. A brief overview of the papers will be provided, as well as an explanation of why an artist would select different styles of paint for an underpainting for a drawing.

All materials provided. Please dress for mess. Space limited to 20 people. Please notify us in advance if your plans change and you can not attend. If you register and can not make it, please call us at 419-720-6462 no less than 24 hours in advance to release your space. Registrants who no call, no show will be waitlisted for future free demo opportunities.

The Art Supply Depo is also hosting a FREE Urban Sketching Meet Up the same afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Main Street for the Sylvania Chamber of Commerce's Fall Festival. Join the Depo crew and friends, bring your own materials, and sketch scenes from the Fall Fest with us. Group will meet up on The Depo Patio at 3:45 for brief introductions, then head out to sketch as a group.
