This class is designed to provide fundamental instruction for those interested in learning to draw. Instruction will include how to use materials (pencils, papers, and erasers) and how to transform lines, shapes, and values into realistic drawings.

No experience is needed.

Materials to bring or buy: 4H, HB, and 4B pencils (or a mechnical pencil), sketchbook 9” x 12” or 11” x 14”, white polymer eraser, small pencil sharpener, and a very thin knitting needle or thin wooden skewer.

David Pett is an experienced artist and art educator who has taught at The Art Supply Depo, YMCA-Wolf Creek, and the 577 Foundation, Perrysburg.

Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.
