25.00

Instructor: Dianne Pinkelman
Ages: 18 and up
Saturday, April 15th, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Saturday, May 6th, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Saturday, June 3rd, 10:00am - 12:00pm

Join expert color pencil artist Dianne Pinkelman for an intermediate- and advanced-level course in working with colored pencils. Dianne worked with and instructed others on how to use colored pencils for decades.

This class will help those who've already honed beginner to intermediate skills in the medium of colored pencil to enhance their technique.  Focus will be on ways to create vibrancy, dimension and life in artwork.  Dianne will lead learners in continuing to work with colored pencil and other supplies to develop and enrich their original works.

List of materials students should bring or buy:
Colored Pencils (your choice of colors, but bring a variety)
Acid-Free White Paper
1-Inch Paint Brush (like an inexpensive Chip Brush for dusting away eraser debris)
Pencil Sharpener
Matte Scotch Tape
Pencil
Ruler, at minimum 12"
White Mars Eraser
Kneaded Eraser
Cover Sheet for Protecting Artwork
Gamsol (All art materials available at Art Supply Depo, with the exception of Matte Scotch Tape)
Reference Photo (we will use the photo as reference to draw from, but not strictly, as we will also practice drawing without it. Bring a photo or color copy of an image.)

Please register as soon as you plan on attending. Classes that don't reach the minimum number of students required will be canceled 48 hours before the first day of class. Last minute registrations are accepted if class minimum is met and space allows.
