Sunday, April 30th from noon to 4:30pm
(4 hour class with 1/2 hour break)
Instructor: Debra Buchanan
Ages: Adults and mature teens welcome.

Led by teacher Debra Buchanan, students will learn techniques, proportions of classical portraiture and how to apply the information to portrait work. Students may work in whatever drawing medium they choose including graphite, charcoal, pastels, color pencils. Students will learn how to break facial features down into simple geometric shapes. The first half of the class will concentrate on learning the proportions and drawing facial features. During the second half of the class students will complete a portrait working form a photograph provided by the instructor. 

Supplies Needed:
Drawing sketch pad
Graphite pencils or drawing material of your choice
Kneaded eraser
White plastic eraser
Pencil eraser
Drawing board


Please register as soon as you plan on attending. Classes that don't reach the minimum number of students required will be canceled 48 hours before the first day of class. Last minute registrations are accepted if class minimum is met and space allows.
