SUMMER WORKSHOP FOR TEENS 12-17: DRAWING INTENSIVE

90.00

Monday, June 25th - Friday, June 29th from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
Instructor: Katie Delay
Ages: Teens 12 - 17 (ages firm)

This is a week for teens who wish to focus on improving their drawing skills. Using graphite pencils and charcoal, we will explore shape through line drawings and then develop 3-D images using light and shade to create form.

Students will have group instruction as well as individual attention as we draw both still-life and organic subject matter.

This class will also be beneficial for high school students who plan to apply to art school. Portfolio preparation will be addressed.

Supplies to bring or buy (all available at The Depo for 10% off*):
Graphite Pencils, one each 2H, HB, 2B, 6B
Soft Vine Charcoal
White Charcoal Pencil
Kneaded Eraser
18x24" Drawing Pad
A portfolio for transporting the paper pad and toolbox or container for transporting drawing materials would also be helpful.

Students are encouraged to bring a beverage and a snack.
