SUMMER CLASS: DIY STAMPS

from 15.00

Instructor: Stephanie Scigilano
Date: Wednesday, June 21st
Kids Ages 5-8, 10:30-12:00 noon
Kids Ages 9-teen, 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm

In this super fun one-session class, kids will learn all the skills to design and create their own stamps for printing.  Stamps are easy to manipulate, fun to create, and can be used to create images or repetitive patterns on paper.
Each class will be tailored to use age-appropriate techniques for creating stamps.  Ages 5-8 will use ball point pens to create images on foam and mount the foam to a cork to create a stamp. All materials provided for this class.
Ages 9- teen should bring or buy a block of pink Speedy Carve (cost $3.50 - $6.00 depending on size) for their class.  They will use linoleum cutters (provided for use) to carve and print a more complex image using paper and ink provided.

Please register as soon as you plan on attending. Classes that don't reach the minimum number of students required will be canceled 48 hours before the first day of class. Last minute registrations are accepted if class minimum is met and space allows.
